Dal pakodi chaat

Ingredients:

Green moong dal – 200 gms

Green chilies – 2 tbsp

Soda – a pinch

Oil for deep frying

Salt to taste

Corriander Chutney – ½ cup

chutney – ½ cup

Yoghurt – 400 ml

Corriander leaves

Chat Masala – 1 tbsp

Red chilli powder – 1 tbsp

Sev – 3-4 tbsp

Method:

Wash and soak green moong dal for 4-5 hours .drain the water and grind the dal to a coarse paste. Transfer the paste into the bowl., Add cooking soda & salt .add onion and green chilles and combine well heat oil in a Kadai for deep frying.fry mixture Of dal in the shape of small balls and drain on a paper. Let it cool now, whisk yoghurt with a pinch of salt and sugar. Put these pieces of pakodis in curd and top it with tamarind chutney, sprinkle red chilli powder ,cumin powder and chaat masala.sprinkle sev in top. enjoy tangy chaat.
