Ingredients:

Almonds – ½ cup
Sugar – 1/3 cup
Ghee – 2 tbsp
Milk – ½ cup
Water – 1 cup
Saffron strands – 3-4

Method:

Take almonds in a bowl and soak it in hot boiling water for 15 mins. Drain all water and rinse it with cold water. Now, we can easily peel the skin of almonds. Now, put them in a blender with milk and make a smooth paste. Head ghee in a pan on medium heat. Add pureed almonds and cook it stirring continuously. Cook it for almost 10 mins. Add few saffron strands and mix well. Add sugar and mix well. Once the sugar will start melting the halwa will become runny again. Keep cooking till gee starts leaving the pan. You can spread it in a plate and cut into pieces or take it out In a bowl and serve.
