Processed cheese- 1/2cup
Corn- 1/2cup
Capsicum-1/4cup(chopped)
Bell peppers-1/2cup(chopped)
Oregano-1 1/2tsp
Chilli flakes-1tsp
White pepper powder-1/2tsp
Refined flour-2tsp
Corn flour-3tsp
Breadcrumbs-1/2cup
Oil for frying
Method:
Cheesy corn poppers
Boil corn for 3-4 mins . Strain and keep aside. Take a separate plate and mix cheese , corn ,chopped capsicum and peppers , oregano and chilli flakes .mix all these ingredients well.
. Add maida to it and knead well like a dough.
Make small balls from it . Insert toothpicks in these balls and give a desired shape. Press little hard from the bottom to tighten the balls. Now mix corn flour and water in a separate bowl and make a thin slurry.Take breadcrumbs in a separate plate. Dip these poppers into the corn flour slurry and wrap into breadcrumbs nicely.
. Fry it on a medium heat . Serve piping hot with sauce.
*you can add more herbs and spices as per your taste.
*while frying oil should be hot and fry on medium heat otherwise poppers will break.
