Red velvet cake with cream cheese frosting

Ingredients:

Flour-1cup
Butter-1/2cup
Buttermilk-1cup
Sugar-3/4cup
Eggs-3
Red colour -21/2tsp
Beetroot juice-3tbsp
Baking powder-1tsp
Vanilla essence- few drops

Method:

Love is in the air

Sift baking powder and refined flour in a bowl.Break eggs in a separate bowl and beat untill thrice in volume . Add vanilla essence to it.Add sugar and butter to the egg mixture and beat untill creamy .add buttermilk , beetroot juice and colour and mix well.Add flour and mix gently.preheat oven to 180c . Pour batter into greased tin and bake for 40-45 mins.remove from oven and let it cool down.
Frosting:

Cream cheese-250gms
Whipped cream -250 GMs
Icing sugar-1/2cup

Method:
For frosting beat cream cheese and icing sugar.fold it in whipped cream.cut the cake into two equal parts and spread frosting over it . Evenly spread layers on the sides also. Put some sprinklers on the top and serve chilled.
