Red Velvet Coockies

Ingredients

1 1/2 cup flour / maida
2 tbsp cocoa powder
½ tsp baking soda
½ cup softened butter
½ cup brown sugar
½ cup caster sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla essence
1 tablespoon red food color
3 tablespoons milk
1 teaspoon lime juice
½ cup white chocolate chips

Method

In a clean bowl, combine the flour and baking soda. Set aside.
In a separate bowl, beat the butter with both the sugars till fluffy.
Add the vanilla essence and food coloring.
Add in the dry ingredients and mix well.
In another bowl, take the milk and add lime juice to it. Let it curdle for 5-10 minutes.
Add this milk into your cookie dough mixture and combine everything.
Refrigerate the dough for 30 minutes.otherwise your cookies will spread .
Preheat the oven at 180 C for 15-20 minutes.
Line your baking tray with a parchment paper.
Scoop out your cookie dough and place the balls on the baking tray.sprinkle some white Choco chips on it.
Bake for 15-17 mins.
Let it cool down ..then store in a jar.
