Babycorn satay with peanut sauce

Ingredients:

Babycorn-10

Ginger garlic paste-2tsp

Soy sauce-2tsp

Chilli sauce-1tsp

Sugar-1tsp

Vinegar-1tsp

Salt&pepper

Method:

First steam the babycorn over high heat for about 3-4 mins.now , turn off the heat and keep it aside.In a bowl , mix all the ingredients of marinade and add babycorns to it and coat the mixture well.let it marinate for 2hours. Heat skillet on high heat . Add1tbsp of oil and toss them well untill the marinade forms a thick brown coating and corn has cooked thoroughly.once done insert skewers. Spread it on a platter and serve with peanut sauce.

Peanut sauce:

Ingredients:

Roasted peanuts-1/2cup

Coconut milk-100ml

Red chilli sauce-1tsp

Brown sugar-1tsp

Soy sauce-1tsp

Garlic-3-4 minced

Water if required

Method:Blend all the ingredients and mix well. Add salt as per taste.add warm water if you want pouring consistency. Serve as accompaniment with snacks.
